Strategies for maximising effectiveness and impact of your role as a senior leader are explored during these Network Meetings. The sessions will focus on recent local, regional and national developments in education; how they may impact upon you, school staff and the students. These are likely to include:- strengthening learning and teaching with specific updates on areas identified in recent inspections, national Curriculum updates, DfE updates and consultations, Ofsted updates, making effective use of data for all groups of learners, intervention at KS3 - KS5, key subject updates relevant for senior leaders, Behaviour and Attendance updates, Post-16 updates.
The specific agenda for each briefing is circulated to all HT and previous attendees approximately one week before the briefing alongside any advanced reading.
A network pack with discussion points will be made available for reading in advance of the meeting. A range of inputs will be provided that reflect both national and local priorities, as highlighted above. High priority will be given to allow sharing of good practice in a supportive virtual environment, an opportunity to reflect and ask questions or raise concerns will also be scheduled into the meeting. The resources and any associated network materials will be made available after the meeting for you to cascade to relevant colleagues in school.
Please send key questions one week in advance of the network. This will allow for a FAQ sheet to be provided and circulate during the meeting.
