Portage Workshop (For Early Years Practitioners in Mainstream School Setting) - 2 1/2 Days

Outline

The Portage Workshop is an accredited and certified course that will provide you with knowledge, understanding and skills to deliver high quality, small steps individualised teaching to children presenting with SEND. You will learn about the Portage model of support for Early Years children and their families and the impact this can have on their teaching and learning. Partnership working with parents / carers is central to the model and the course will look specifically at how this approach fits within quality practice in Early Years Provision.

This workshop will focus specifically on supporting Early Years children in mainstream school settings and will consider how the Portage principles and subsequent practice can be translated into the school environment.

Description
