An introduction to using Money Manager Software for recording School finances, from entering bank and petty cash payments, reconciling to bank statement and completing the month end SEA Return to the Local Authority.
Delegates will be provided with an understanding on how to setup and use Money Manager to record income and expenditure in a school setting. The coding structure will be explained and how this relates to both the Local Authority SAP system and the Governments Consistent Financial Reporting Structure for Schools. This is a practical course where the delegate will learn how to enter bank and petty cash payments and receipts, learn how to reconcile to the Bank Statement and create memorised reports that are used to complete the LA SEA return at month end. During the course central payments made by the authority (SAP) will be discussed together with Budget Monitoring Reports. There is a separate follow on ½ day course (Balancing to SAP) to show how to reconcile to SAP in order to produce Budget Monitoring Reports.
Delegates will understand how to setup and use Money Manager to record the schools finances, including all steps of the SEA return process.
